Our Food

Black & White Puddings
We have always had a family recipe for our black and white puddings, which were fully based on pork. However, when we played around with the recipe for the black pudding we found that you could not beat the flavour if there was mixture of both pork and beef blood used - so, we broke with tradition and renewed the family recipe! Our puddings have a mixture of oatmeal and barley that give a medium coarse texture. Our seasoning is mild as we prefer to taste the background elements of the pudding and not have them too spicy. This seems to satisify all f the family.
The exciting thing about puddings is their versatility in cooking and we use them as part of the traditional fry up but also in salads, on pizza, in sandwiches or served with scallops or other seafood.
